A bachelor’s degree in education from a four- year accredited college or university.
A minimum of 2 years teaching experience in an elementary classroom.

The Carmel School Lower School division is growing and needs to hire additional classroom teachers in the early elementary grades. Teachers at The Carmel School are expected to follow the mission of the school and demonstrate professionalism with members of the school community.
Essential duties include the ability to plan, organize and deliver instruction to meet the needs of each child in the class. Teachers must be knowledgeable regarding student assessment and maintain accurate, complete records of student growth. Considerable knowledge of learning theory and best practices are expected.
