At The Carmel School, we recognize the significance of after-school programming in supporting our students' academic and personal growth.
After-School Care & Enrichment
Our daily after-school program for Lower School students runs from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. for a minimal fee, providing a safe and engaging environment where younger students can participate in various activities, homework help, and recreational fun. For our Middle and Upper School students, we offer the flexibility to remain on campus until 5:30 p.m., ensuring they have access to additional academic support and resources as needed. This commitment to after-school programming reflects our dedication to fostering a holistic educational experience that encourages continuous learning and development beyond regular school hours.
Lynx Program
The Carmel School's Linx program is a six-week after-school program for 1st through 5th graders. This program is an out-of-pocket expense for families.
This program provides students with opportunities to explore their interests and talents beyond the traditional curriculum, fostering creativity, teamwork, and leadership skills in a supportive environment. Extracurricular activities also help to build a strong sense of community, as students and teachers alike come together outside the classroom to collaborate and engage in shared passions.
The program offers developmental sports and activities for Lower School students. Sessions are held weekdays from 3:00 to 4:15 p.m. Teachers and Coaches will lead activities including twirling, kickball, soccer, and STEAM.
