The Carmel School’s grade point average is unweighted and students are not ranked.  Our curriculum is college preparatory and there is one diploma type.  Below are our graduation requirements:
English
4 credits
Mathematics
4 credits
Laboratory Science
4 credits
Social Sciences
4 credits
Physical Education
1 credit
Bible
4 credits (or one per year of enrollment)
Foreign Language
3 credits (or two years of two different)
Electives
4 credits
Senior Seminar
1 credit

College Application Steps
After college selections are made, students must take the following steps:
  • Submit College Applications using The Common Application, The Coalition Application or apply to the individual college online.
  • Notify the school counselor who will upload official transcripts, a school profile and recommendations if requested.
  • Students must request SAT, ACT or AP scores directly from the College Board or ACT
